Orange County Maternity Session

Jul

05

This Orange County maternity session is one of my new favorites! These two were the most darling couple – pun intended! Meet Dan and Audrey Darling, and their sweet pup, of course. They’re expecting their first baby this summer and wanted to document the occasion in the studio.

Audrey found our studio via Google, and after a few emails, I encouraged them to stop by! I like to encourage all new clients to jump on a call or stop by for a short 10-15-minute meet and greet so we can get to know each other before their session. It’s a great way to get a feel for the space and flow of your upcoming session and get comfortable in the space.

Orange County Maternity Session

From the moment I met this adorable couple, I was dying for them to choose me to tell this momentous chapter in their lives. I knew immediately we were going to be a good fit, and I was so thrilled when we made things official.

Audrey had a vision she wanted for the session, and I was so excited to put my spin on it! I loved that they chose a more dressed-up and a casual option for their wardrobe. Shanon did an amazing job with hair and makeup for Audrey, and I loved the look with both looks!

I was also so excited that they included their sweet dog Brody He was such a good boy, and I love how the portraits with him turned out. He was such a snuggle bug!

The Darlings are waiting to find out the gender of their first baby, so be sure to let me know what you think they’re having in the comments!

I can’t wait to document their baby later this summer, and I’ll share a few highlights here after their session!
