As a Lido Island Family Photographer, nothing makes me happier than working with a family like this one! These kiddos all had the sweetest personalities, and it was so fun getting to spend the evening with them at the prettiest sunset locations. It was such a fun hour.

Meet the Werner family! Jess & Eric have three beautiful children, and we had the best time documenting these moments with them for their Family Signature Session on the private docks at Lido Island.
They have been living on Lido Island while they build their dream home. To document the occasion of this sweet chapter, we decided the Lido private docks would be the perfect location for the annual signature session.

Shanon traveled to the couple’s home to help Jess get ready for the session with hair & makeup. After everyone was dressed and ready to go, I met them on the docks just before sunset.
Their youngest made me work for the smiles, but it was worth it. We had the best time. I always love working with families with older kids! It’s so fun seeing their different personalities and seeing how siblings interact with each other!
The light at this location was also so pretty, bringing the most beautiful warmth to their portraits! It’s one of the main reasons I opt to schedule sessions in the last hour and a half before sunset. Especially here on the west coast, where the sunset light is so dreamy.
I adore this beautiful family and can’t wait to call neighbors again soon.
