Now and then, I get to photograph a family in its entirety. We include grandparents, aunts and uncles, and all the cousins in between. The multi-generation Lido Beach Family Session was a treat, and I loved documenting this family’s legacy in one of my favorite locations.
Lido Beach Family Session
This private dock at Lido is one of my favorite hidden gems. It’s such a fun twist from my usual beach sessions, and I love it as an option to make things easier for bigger groups or when more parking is needed. It’s also quite lovely during the sunset hours when the sun sets over the water. I’ll never tire of our California sunsets and the lights as it changes.
The Moatazedi Family
Meet the Moatazedi family again. I have been documenting Dina and her family for over six years now, and during the Pandemic, she gifted her family a Generational session. We know how hard it can be to schedule and get this many family members together at one time, but we finally got everyone together to document both sides of their family. It was so worth the wait!
Plus, how amazing did they all look in shades of cream and white? They really did a fantastic job getting everyone coordinated but I am not surprised because Dina is a Newport Beach Stylist and is such a talent.
Grandparents have such an important role to include in your children’s memories, and I love it when clients prioritize documenting them in their portraits. We did just that during this multi-generation Lido Beach family session.
We had the best time getting this large family together, and I love all of the different variations and special connections we were able to document. I hope they cherish these memories, which were such a thoughtful and heartfelt gift forever. When these cousins look back on these with their own families, I hope they will remember this day. All the laughs, big hugs, and, most importantly, the memories of the people standing beside them.
