Rebecca wanted two very different looks for her Newport Beach maternity session, and it was a joy helping her bring her vision to life. Rebecca and Steven are such a beautiful couple, and we had the best time laughing the entire time!
Newport Beach Maternity Session
Just a year ago, we celebrated the engagement of Rebecca and Steven with a beautiful session on the beach. As they celebrate their first wedding anniversary this year, we are documenting another joyous occasion. They’ve been blessed quickly with a baby boy, and we are thrilled and can’t wait to meet baby Edge soon!
Rebecca and Steven traveled over an hour and a half from the high desert for their session. We started hair and makeup with Shanon for Rebecca while I set up the more dramatic looks for the session. I loved this dark backdrop and how it brought so much depth to the portraits.
Our signature style here at HHP is light and airy, but I love working with clients to bring their vision to life with my own artistic spin.
For wardrobe, Rebecca used our client’s closet for the lighter look and brought in a few darker looks of her own for the second half of our session.
The Storybook Collective
I couldn’t be more thrilled that Steven and Rebecca have chosen to document this new season with The Storybook Collective Membership with us.
With the Storybook Collective, we will create the very first family heirloom for baby Edge! Over the next year, we will document his newborn, six-month milestone, and one-year sessions together. After the last of their sessions, we will bring everything together into a hand-crafted storybook they can cherish forever.
