As an Orange County newborn photographer, there’s nothing better than snuggling these sweet new babies who visit our Newport studio! Katie shared with me very early on that she was expecting, and what felt like eleven months later, he is finally here in all of his perfection. We have all waited for Beau’s arrival for what feels like forever.

They made the drive all the way up from Dana Point, and I am so happy they did. These images are just so precious. I’m so excited to share a handful of favorites from his session with all of you!

I got to photograph Katie for her stunning maternity session, and it was such a sweet reunion to welcome her and her husband, Marc, back into the studio.

We kept things simple and sweet with the wardrobe, and I loved the lighting in every single one of these portraits!

The Collective Membership

They knew early on that they wanted to document every detail of becoming a family of three, and I’ve been overjoyed ensuring we do it well and intentionally.

Katie’s best friend gifted her a Collective Membership, and we were all so touched by the gesture. This is the second of four sessions for them over the next year, including his next big milestones. I love that they will have a cohesive, beautiful collection of images celebrating Beau’s first year of life when we are done with his collective!

Fun Fact: A week after this newborn session, Beau was back in the studio for a sweet session with Santa.

We are all looking forward to watching him grow, but I hope the next year goes by just as slowly as his pregnancy did so we can all savor these moments with him.
